The Chicken Man either serves food at his place or delivers it to your sofa. On the menu, meanwhile, you’ll find beauties such as ‘A Hard Hong Kong Day's Work’ which includes half a chicken, a side, a salad, a starter or a dessert and a drink – all for HK$125. You’re losing money if you don’t give them a call.
The food’s great but perhaps the best part of The Chicken Man is (he) understands Hong Kong. For instance he explains his reasons for starting the business as follows: ‘Once upon a time The Chicken Man moved to Asia. He found a small flat and paid a lot for it. People told him it was in Hong Kong… it had no oven.’ We love that.
When you can’t be bothered to cook The Chicken Man will do it for you and he’s collected all sorts of recipes from around the world such as his Piri Piri which hails from Lisbon and the Pate which is The Chicken Man’s mum’s recipe. Straight from the coop.
Don’t be a chicken - get stuck in.
