The Club You Can Talk About

Many of you out there have never held a real gun. It’s nothing to be ashamed of; in the urban lifestyles we live, the powers that be choose to, and with good sense, limit our contact with potentially lethal items, including Celine Dion’s Greatest Hits and Dirty Harry’s .357, hence the 30 Rock line, “she’s grab a cop’s gun kind of crazy.” But with close supervision, you can still enjoy the marksmanship (and internal Rambo scene) that come with range shooting.

The China Gun Club is located just five minutes from the Kwun Tong MTR and provides over 10,000sqft of shooting space for learners or the Deer Hunter within. Their range officers are approved by the Hong Kong police, and the 17-metre and 25-metre ranges, each of which have eight booths, feature 360-degree computerised targets. The club also has a stock of weapons, and for a relatively cheap one-year membership, they’ll train you up and you can blast away with hand guns, rifles and even shot guns. A boutique carries all the fashion for today’s armed citizens.

You’ll look like a cast member from Deliverance in no time.
