Testing Out Your Swing Between Swigs

Many of us love to play a round of God’s Own Game. The skill, the fresh air, the comradery, the 19th hole. But who has the time to line up for a tee-off at Hong Kong’s limited courses, or to jet up into Southern China for a cheeky “business” round. It’s hard to keep that long drive strong, or that short game sharper than a titanium tooth pick without a bit of practice.

Nestled in a commercial space above Wyndham Street, City Links Golf might be just the answer for a golfer suffering from a city’s captivity. Using state-of-the-art golf simulators, the same used by the PGA pro circuit, they offer a unique take on the game; play the world’s most famous courses and create the perfect conditions, be it an early morning round or a late afternoon nine holes before dinner. What’s more, there is a modern bar so the 19th hole is only ever metres away and non-players still have the creature comforts. Book in advance with a group of mates (it works out cheaper) and you can cruise through 18 holes in just over two hours, or slip out of the office for nine holes over lunch.

You’ll be a Tiger by tea time.
