We all love a drink and many of us prefer wine over beer or a couple of lunchtime Jaeger Bombs. With Hong Kong’s government dropping the wine duty (the equivalent of a financial slap and tickle for many restaurants and their patrons), we can now enjoy much cheaper tipples and better quality vino for our dollars.
There are few things worse than walking through a pea soup-like fog of
other people’s carcinogens every time you walk along Wyndham Street or
down through Lan Kwai Fong. Don’t get us wrong, we appreciate a good
stoogie like the rest of you, but you have to admit, this smoking law
has done little but push the party out onto the street and that, as
