In a place as loud, moneyed and pin-striped as Hong Kong it’s a bit of a surprise that there are so few bona fide champagne bars, which makes it all the more pleasing to unveil Flutes. This cute, little bar has just opened for business and is run by the affable Adrian. Like Manny Pacquiao, it’s small but punchy, offering a great selection of bubbly.
Aside from the champagne, they also do some brilliant cocktails, perhaps the finest of which is the Chili Martini. It’s not quite spicy enough to have you popping toilet roll in the fridge before you order one but it certainly tickles the tonsils. They also offer a cheese board and are exploring other light dining options.
Because bubbles are best.
